“Back in the late 70s I was working in Summerland, at a greenhouse belonging to one of Florenco’s principals. I was there until April 1978, when I moved back to Vancouver, because of the increasing demand for our services downtown. At that time, the company was under the directorship of Ben Viersen. In 1991, I purchased Florenco. Since then Florenco has grown to employ 19 staff. I’ve been doing this one thing my whole life. I became a ticketed journeyman in 1988. It’s my trade. It’s in my blood.”
